#TeamKairos hit the streets!

The big day finally arrived! 13 members of Kairos, and some much appreciated supporters, set up camp in the Charity Village for the annual Coventry Fun Run. With a stall full of homemade cakes, well-loved books and great raffle prizes and a team of 10 runners ready to pound the pavements, we were proud to belong to #TeamKairos. The preparations for the event have been a real team effort; our service-users had made our awesome t-shirts in our WINGS group with the help of one of our trustees, volunteers & trustees ironed on logos, baked, joined our running club, gathered items for our stall, raised sponsorship and tweeted about the event and staff kept up the momentum with (almost) weekly blog posts about our gruelling training schedule. This is just one of the many reasons why I am so proud to work for Kairos WWT.

Today’s Fun Run starts a 12 month programme of fundraising and all donations will contribute to sustaining our services to marginalised women in Coventry.
