Coventry Women’s Partnership

Coventry Women’s Partnership is a three year project, funded by the Smallwood Trust, which brings together organisations that support and empower women in the Coventry area to improve economic outcomes. The partnership is led by FWT – a centre for women, an organisation with 28 years’ experience of removing barriers facing women in Coventry.

Along with Kairos WWT, the partnership also consists of:

–  Coventry Haven Women’s Aid – who deliver refuge and outreach services to women and their children

–  CRASAC (Coventry Rape and Sexual Abuse Centre) – who provide dedicated specialist services to victims and survivors of sexual violence

Coventry Law Centre – who provide legal advice and assistance

Through referrals, the partnership works with women across a wide range of areas, including health and wellbeing support, rape and sexual abuse, domestic violence and abuse, pathways to exiting prostitution, homelessness and drug addiction, education, training and routes to employment and free legal advice.

The project is being evaluated by the Women’s Budget Group, who are a network of leading feminist economists, researchers and policy experts committed to achieving a more gender equal future. The Women’s Budget Group will produce a series of research reports which draw on the impact that this partnership has on the women it supports.
